Ancestral Trauma
Difficult cases are often frustrating and make us feel that we are 'getting it wrong’. Yet what we may be missing is an understanding that the similimum can sometimes not be where we think it should be. While we are familiar with 'Never Been Well Since' in a case of accident, emergency, surgery, chemical medication or a host of other such problems within the patient's history, we are not always awake to the idea that the patient may be carrying difficult energy that belongs deep in the past and, sometimes, to someone else.
To discover the roots of troublesome ancestral energy we shall explore different aspects of the familial past and how it might manifest in a case. We will look at 'kidney energy' as it is understood in oriental medicine and how we can adapt this to homoeopathy. We will look at aspects of Astrology to find out if there are clues within a patient's chart. There will be an exploration of certain remedies that can dig deep into ancestry and strategies of prescribing including triad remedies. We will also quote from case studies to illustrate these.
