The endocrine system impacts almost every cell and organ in the human body. The glands that make up the endocrine system produce hormones that affect not only our physical body but also our emotional selves as well.
One of the glands in the endocrine system is the thyroid gland. The thyroid produces a range of hormones that affect a whole host of bodily functions. It was after treating many patients with thyroid problems, that Hilery became interested in the endocrine system and how homeopathy could help.
About 20 years ago, Hilery noticed the profound effect the remedy thyroidinum had on her patients, not only physically but emotionally as well.
Later, after considering several folliculinum cases, it struck her that the very core of who we are as individuals is dictated by the hormones released by our endocrine system.
Hilery not only considered testosterone, oestrogen and the other sex hormones, she also thought about the hormones, brain chemicals and neurotransmitters that these glands produce, such as serotonin, dopamine, adrenaline and cortisol, to name but a few.
She saw that the delicate balance of our brain chemistry makes us who we are. Furthermore, the endocrine system is the interface between our physical and our emotional selves.
Hilery believes that the remedies that come from these glands, either made from the glands themselves (pituitrin anteriorum) or made from their secretions, (oxytocin, adrenaline), are going to become ever more important in our homeopathy clinics, to help patients find a better balance in their lives and to become who they were really meant to be.

This course is delivered by internationally acclaimed homeopath Hilery Dorrian. Hilery has been a qualified homeopath for over 30 years. She is a senior lecturer at CHE (The Centre for Homeopathic Education) and many other homeopathic colleges, both in the UK and abroad.
Hilery first qualified as an acupuncturist in 1981 before going on to study Homeopathy. After graduating in 1988 Hilery continued her studies in India and now runs a busy practice, seeing upwards of 50 patients a week.
